I tried to ignore how close Alec sat to me so he could peek at the screen. I wouldn’t turn my head to take in a deeper inhale of his clean, spicy aroma with a hint of citrus. A smell that reminded me of a warm fire on a cold winter night and I wanted to get as close as possible.
